Opening
For years, the mansion has slept — its windows dark, its rooms sealed by time and memory.
But this Halloween, as the veil grows thin, the door creaks open once more.
Inside, eight rooms wait — forgotten, but not gone.
Each one tells its story through fabric, thread, and imagination.

The Forgotten Rooms is a story-inspired quilt-along — a one-of-a-kind Halloween quilting experience that blends creativity, storytelling, and connection.
You’ll sew your way through eight quilt blocks representing events that occurred in each room of the long-forgotten mansion. Each block unlocks a new part of the story — designed by a talented group of quilters bringing the mansion to life, one stitch at a time.

The Apothecary fabric line by Amber Elliott of Alderwood Studio — the palette behind The Forgotten Rooms.

Inspired by the Community behind the Nocturnal Soul Stitchery
I am delighted to co-host the Forgotten Rooms QAL along with Angela Wall of Ollie Sara Designs. We met through the Nocturnal Soul Stitchery Halloween QAL 2025 — that was hosted by Maggie Reno of Snug and Stitch and Michelle Corless of Compass and Wildflower.
Four other amazing designers from the Noctural Soul Stitchery have joined us on this adventure:
Nik Knott of Vogonverse, Michelle Corless of Bobbins and Unicorns, Andrea Foley-braski of The Fabric Foundry and Katie Purdil of Perennial Crafts and we are thrilled to bring this QAL to life!
We are delighted to welcome guest designers:
Jennifer Long of Sew a Story to mansion.
While the mansion, the story, and the mystery are new, the heart behind it is the same —
creativity, community, and a love for storytelling through fabric.
A heartfelt thank you to Riley Blake Designs for their support and their beautiful fabrics and to Amber Elliott of Alderwood Studio for her enchanting Apothecary fabric line, which brings the world of The Forgotten Rooms to life.
